An aluminium "I LOVE YOU" party balloon is reinterpreted in crystal embroidery to become a blackless bustier.
Fabric: mixed needle embroidery: glass crystals, cotton, silk pongé, sequins, beads, crystals, glass tubes and metal, silk and cotton threads.

A “Souvenir Bomber jacket” bearing an inscription on the back that reads TO THE BEST FATHER IN THE WORLD FROM YOUR LOVING SON HERBERT 1949 TOKYO JAPAN, is partially restored and lined. It is worn over a couture bustier and a skirt made of an assemblage of embroidery samples in salvaged metal. This silhouette is worn with a MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA artisanal gold embellished mask.
Fabric: tapestry sourced in New-York, USA, wool on cotton twill, metal twill.

An asymmetrical suit is cut on a stockman in a Second Empire lampas with an 18th-century style “palm leaf and flowers” motif. Woven by the MANUFACTURE DU VERT MUGUET.
Fabric: lampas brocade with yellow taffeta ground, metallic threads and silk pongé.

MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA Artisanal netted mask

Three-dimensional embroidery depicting a red lobster is placed on a couture bustier. Worn as an ensemble with a chiffon skirt. Fabric: mixed needle embroidery (silk, cotton and metallic threads, glass beads, crystals, stones, purl threads, silk chiffon).
