Revealing cognac from a new perspective
Hennessy entrusted EXHIBITION with the creation of its institutional film for the launch of Hennessy Hands, the personalization service for its Paradis decanter.
CREATING A DIALOGUE BETWEEN TWO EXCEPTIONAL CRAFTS
Inspired by our visit to the Hennessy workshops in Cognac, we imagined a visual language that brings together two key métiers:
- The art of coopering and hooping, essential to cognac making.
- The craftsmanship of leatherwork and calligraphy, used to personalize the decanters.
These two worlds converse through their materials, colors, and gestures.
The warm tones of the coopers’ workshop echo the brighter, more contemporary palette of Hennessy Hands accessories.
Through a diptych edit, the film reveals the parallels in movements and forms, guided by a single thread: the hand - that shapes, engraves, and personalizes.
